About NeuroTV NeuroTV is a privately held company that has been founded in may 2000 by Guy Vanden Bemden and Paul Hannequart. In September 2000, NeuroTV launched a three year R&D program on DVB-MHP. Since its early beginning, NeuroTV has been active in the field of interactive television applications and systems, developing innovative products in partnership with major technology providers like EVS, Thales Broadcast and Multimedia (now Thomson / Grass Valley), Philips or NDS. End of 2002, NeuroTV bought DocTOON technology, an interactive 3d system for kids care in hospitals and started to develop its own 3d technology. In June 2005, after several years of fruitful collaboration, NeuroTV signed with RTBF (Belgium’s public broadcaster) a long-term partnership agreement to jointly design and experiment 3d solutions for broadcast. In December 2006, four private investors from BAMS business angels network (Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium) joined NeuroTV. This new funding being mainly dedicated to strengthening NeuroTV’s expansion on the international market. |
